: The Consortium of National Law Universities has announced the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) dates for the 2022 exams. Candidates will be able to apply for the exam from January 1, 2022 on the official website of CLAT on consortiumofnlus.ac.in
CLAT 2022 will be held on May 8 for both undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) programmes. The last date to apply for CLAT 2022 will be available till March 31, 2022.
“CLAT-2022 will be held on May 8, 2022. The Consortium has resolved that CLAT-2023 will be held on 18th December, 2022. Hence, in 2022 two CLAT examinations will be held in one year,” an official statement said.
Steps to apply
Step 1
: Visit the official website of NLU on consortiumofnlus.ac.in
Step 2
: Click on the ‘CLAT 2022’ registration link on the homepage.
Step 3
: Enter the details and submit.
Step 4
: Download and keep a printout of the same for further use
Candidates appearing for the class 12 board examination will be eligible to apply for CLAT UG and students who have completed LLB or are in the final year of the LLB programme can apply for CLAT LLM.
Students applying for CLAT UG will be required to score 45 percent marks and for CLAT PG you will be required to score 50 percent marks. However, the reserved category students will get relaxation.
