A male leopard came on the roads in Lucknow and has so far injured more than 15 people in different colonies and areas for three consecutive days. It arrived in Lucknow’s Gudamba area on Saturday.
Even now, the forest department team is unsuccessful in catching him. The forest department searched the leopard on Sunday night after getting information but it was not found.
On Saturday, he was first seen strolling in the streets in the densely populated area of Gudamba. When people saw in the CCTV footage, they came to know about it and then after this, the police were informed. The police, forest department, and the zoo team started the rescue till they reached.
Meanwhile, the leopard entered many houses, reached someone’s roof and entered the gate by climbing the boundary wall of the same house. It was sometimes seen coming on the road and roaming the streets. Wherever he sees people, he starts running after them and it is spreading panic in the area. So far, he has attacked and injured about 15 people. People are hiding in their homes in panic. During the rescue, the leopard once got trapped in the trap thrown by the forest department team, but due to their gross negligence, escaped from the clutches again.
