Watch: Rahul Gandhi refuses to accept rudraksh, 1971 war veteran 'pushed' around at his event, claims BJP

New Delhi:

In-charge of BJP’s National Information and Technology Department Amit Malviya on Friday shared a video on Twitter, claiming that a 1971 war veteran was pushed around in Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s presence at an event in Dehradun.

Malviya also stated that Rahul Gandhi refused to accept a rudraksh offered by one of the attendees at the event.

“First a 1971 war veteran is pushed around in Rahul Gandhi’s presence then he refuses to accept a rudraksh offered by one of the attendees. He is the same man who hops temples just before elections, claims to be a janeudhari Hindu and of late pontificates on Hinduism. #Uttarakhand,” Malviya tweeted.

On the occasion of Swarnim Vijay Diwas, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Thursday said that India made Pakistan lose in 13 days only in the 1971 war as India was united and was standing as one.

“Pakistan bowed its head within 13 days in the 1971 war. Generally, a war is fought for six months, one-two years. America took 20 years to defeat Afghanistan but India made Pakistan lose in 13 days only as India was united and was standing as one,” said Rahul Gandhi at an event in Dehradun.
