Ashes Sydney Test: When, where and how to watch!

Sydney: 

The fourth Ashes Test will be a showcase match for the visitors as Australia have already retained the Ashes, winning three games in the five-match Test series. Joe Root-led England has been subject to hefty criticism after losing three consecutive games, the team will now try to end the tour on a higher note by marking wins. 

Changes in Playing XI:

With the fourth Ashes Test set to be played in Sydney, both teams have announced their playing XI with the changes. The hosts have selected Usman Khwaja as the replacement of Travis Head, who was tested positive of COVID-19 and Scott Boland has held off challengers for his spot in Australia’s XI. Stuart Board has been brought back to the English Team, replacing Ollie Robinson.

COVID-19 hampering Ashes: 

The COVID-19 virus is casting its shadows over the entire world again and cricket is no exception in that. Ashes has been hampered with many COVID-19 cases found in English and Australian camps in the past few days. Pat Cummins, the Australian captain, had to miss the second Test because his friend’s COVID test returned positive and he had had dinner with him the previous night. 

Many support staff and family members in the English camp tested positive. ICC Match referee David Boon was found positive ahead of the fourth Test and he will not be present in Sydney. In a regular RT-PCR test, Australian cricketer Travis Head was found positive and consequently, he has to miss Sydney Test.
