Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav on Friday alleged he was not being allowed to fly out of Delhi to Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh.
Calling it a “BJP’s conspiracy”, Akhilesh Yadav in a tweet claimed that a senior BJP leader was allowed to fly before him but his helicopter has been stopped without any reason in Delhi.
Posting a picture with his stalled helicopter at the backdrop, Akhilesh Yadav tweeted, “My helicopter has been stopped without any reason in Delhi and I am not being allowed to fly to Muzaffarnagar. Meanwhile, a top BJP leader has just flown from here. This is a desperate conspiracy of the losing BJP. People are understanding everything…”
Recently, several of the BJP ministers in Uttar Pradesh government left the party to join Akhilesh Yadav-led Samajwadi Party to contest in the upcoming state assembly elections. Also, the SP leader has been confident of winning around 400 seats in the polls that the party is contesting with its ally Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD).

Voting for the 403 Uttar Pradesh Assembly seats will be held in seven phases on between February 10 and March 7. Polling dates are – February 10, 14, 20, 23, 27 and March 3 and 7. The counting of votes will take place on March 10.
