The Government of India’s ‘Make in India, Made for World’ model has been taken very seriously by Hyundai Motors and a direct example of this is the Hyundai Creta SUV, which in the year 2021 is at the top position as the most exported SUV from India, has been established as the most trusted brand in over 100 markets across the world, Hyundai exported 32799 units of the Creta SUV in 2021, registering a growth of 26.17 percent year-on-year.
HMIL exported a total of 42,238 SUVs in 2021
Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) exported 42,238 SUVs last year. In 2020, the company exported 25,995 units of Creta.
The Hyundai Creta is a shining example of the Government of India’s commitment to the ‘Make in India, Made for World’ model, along with making a mark in the SUV segment in the domestic market in 2021. After Creta, a total of 7698 units of Hyundai Venue were exported last year and then a total of 1741 units of Creta Grand were exported.
HMIL has a presence in over 100 countries across the world (6 continents Europe, North America, South America, Asia, Africa and Australia) and produces a significant portion of Hyundai Motor Company’s global export hub.
