The 12-episode series stars Diego Luna as his Rogue One character Cassian Andor, showing how the rebellion against the Empire grew and “how people and planets became involved.” Per Disney+, “It’s an era filled with danger, deception and intrigue where Cassian will embark on the path that is destined to turn him into a rebel hero.” The 12-episode series will debut its first three episodes on September 21, 2022, instead of its initial August premiere date.
