Bharat Jodo Yatra: Rahul Gandhi to halt at Mahakal temple in MP’s Ujjain

New Delhi: Senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will reach at Mahakal Temple in Madhya Pradesh’s Ujjain during his ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ on Tuesday. He will halt there to seek blessings of Baba Mahakal.

The temple administration has almost completed all the preparations for his arrival. Adequate security arrangements have also been made.

Soon after visiting the temple, Gandhi will address a public rally in the town. Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, Digvijay Singh and other senior leaders will accompany the Wayanad MP.

Soon to enter Rajasthan

Today is the seventh day of the Bharat Jodo Yatra in the state where it was started on November 23. Rahul Gandhi led the ‘yatra’ in the state from Maharashatra.

The Conrgess’ mass outreach programme will enter the desert state Rajasthan on December 5.

The Congress is witnessing a sensitive atmosphere in the state due to a power tussel between Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and Senior party leader Sachin Pilot.
