New Delhi: A shocking news has emerged from the state of Bihar. In Katihar district, a bride was found hanging in her wedding dress. The woman who died has been identified as Nisha. She died just two days after getting married. The entire incident is from Pranpur police station area.
She got married on November 26 and she went to her in-laws’ house the next day. On the next day her body was found hanging in the room. The sight was heart-wrenching. As per the father of the bride, there was some money left which is to be paid as dowry.
Death two days after marriage
Nisha married Rajkishore on November 25. As per the father, as soon as her daughter reached the in-laws house, they started torturing her for the outstanding dowry money. Nisha’s body was found hanging from the noose. The police has sent the dead body to city hospital for post-mortem. Further investigation in the matter is underway.
Police yet to determine cause of death
The marriage ceremony took place in two different villages of Pranpur police station area. Deceased Nisha was married to Rajkishore Mandal, son of Shankar Mandal of Dhanpada on November 25. Barely, two days after the marriage, such an incident is raising a lot of questions. The police is investigating whether the matter is of murder or suicide.
