Floods: Death toll rises to 30

<p><img src="" alt="Featured Image"></p><p><!-- wp:html --><p>The death toll, due to the inclement weather, had gone up to 30 by yesterday (05) afternoon. Parliament was told that 71 houses had been destroyed and more than 93,770 houses damaged. The Irrigation Department said water levels in the rivers such as Kelani , Kalu and Attanagalu Oya were receding.</p>
<p>Flood water levels in areas such as Gampaha, Ja-Ela, Wattala, Minuwangoda, and Katana would gradually decrease, the Irrigation Department said.</p>
