<p><img src="" alt="Featured Image"></p><p><!-- wp:html --><p>Founder of The Pathfinder Foundation, former Cabinet Minister and High Commissioner to India Milinda Moragoda recently published a book, titled "Ashoka Vadana," in Sinhala. This book was translated into Tamil as "Malarum Yugathirku Pudiyathor Vadivam' and launched at Saraswathy Hall, Bambalapitiya.</p>
<p>The book contains selected articles from his newspaper column of the same name that ran during Moragoda's tenure as High Commissioner to India. The purpose of the column was to present the experience of India in the realms of economics, science, society, and politics placed within the context of Sri Lanka.</p>
<p>A copy of the "Malarum Yugathirku Pudiyathor Vadivam,'' published by the Pathfinder Foundation, was first handed over by Milinda Moragoda to the Ven. Elkaduwe Nagitha Thera, Swami Aksharatmananda of Ramakrishna Mission, Colombo, Shrilasri Vaitheeswaran Kurukkal, Bishop Asiri P. Perera, and Ash Sheikh M.S.M Thassim.</p>
<p>President of the Colombo Thamil Sangam, Dr. K. Raguparan, presided over the book launch. Retired Chief Justice K. Siripavan, and Director of the Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre of the Indian High Commission Dr Ankuran Dutta, were the Guests of Honour at the function. Economist/Senior Lecturer, Department of Economics of the University of Colombo Dr. M. Ganeshamoorthy was the Guest Speaker and Senior Lecturer, Legal Studies, Faculty of Humanities & Social Science of the Open University Dr. Yasodara Kathirgamathamby, reviewed the book. After the event, copies of the book were handed over to the school libraries of Hindu College, Bambalapitiya, Ramanathan Hindu Ladies College, Bambalapitiya, Saiva Mangaiyar Vidyalayam, Wellawatta, and St. Mary's Tamil Maha Vidyalayam, Bambalapitiya.
