Two Constables were shot by a man reportedly with a revolver stolen from the Police.
The revolver had been stolen by the suspect from a Police constable who was on patrol duty at Katiyala, Katana.
The suspect had later fired at the officers injuring two. The suspect is said to have escaped in a motorcycle. The injured officers were admitted to Negombo Hospital.
