One person died and two others seriously injured and admitted to the Kandy hospital ICU when a SLTB bus and a three wheeler collided near the Susil S. Absysundera Mawatha in Henawala, Kadugannawa on the Kandy road on December 9.
The deceased was a father of three from Molagoda, Peradeniya. All of them were commuting in the three wheeler.
The SLTB bus from the Ja-Ela depot was plying from Kandy to Ja-Ela when the accident occurred.
The Three wheeler was on its way to Pilimatalawa from Kadugannawa. Kadugannwa police had taken the bus driver into custody along with the bus.
