A ministerial sub committee has been appointed to recommend measures to face drought in March as predicted by the experts. The ministerial subcommittee was appointed at the last Cabinet meeting held under the patronage of President Maithripala Sirisena. The committee will recommend measures to prepare the people to face an imminent drought situation in the country.
