The Prime Minister’s Office will review the communal projects carried out between 1993-1995.
The divisional secretariats have obtained information regarding the present condition of the communal projects.
According to the information obtained, the Nabatunna–Madawala canal renovated in 1993 was in good condition even now. Thalalla Punchi Pansala Road constructed in 1995 had been rehabilitated after a decade.
Henwatte and Kadjugasmandiya public ground water wells established during 1993-1994 are also in good condition.
Agarawalla-Pilla brook development project carried out during 1993-1995 period had not been renovated for a long time and a large number of families of the area were facing water scarcity now.
