Bar Association of Sri Lanka President U. R. de Silva, PC in a release wishes to bring to the notice of the general public that the statements with regard to the interpretation of the Constitution of Sri Lanka, expressed on several occasions in the Electronic and Print media, in the recent past, clearly introduced as being made by U. R. de Silva, President’s Counsel, were personal views made on the basis of his professional knowledge, and not in any way the views made on behalf of the Bar Association of Sri Lanka.
