Following a tip-off, an illicit brew manufacturer was taken into custody by Kandeketiya Police when his production den at Kahambaava, in Akurukaduva, off Kandaketiya, Viyaluva close to the Mahiyanganaya-Badulla road, was raided last Sunday(23) noon.
The Police seized 15 litres of brew mixture from the production den.
The suspect was released on Police bail after an interrogation.
