The Veeracholai Mixed Government Tamil School in Navithanveli, Sammanthurai, conducted an awareness seminar titled ‘Strength of Schools Against Drugs’ at the school premises, recently.
It was held to mark the National School Drug Eradication Week.
The event was organised by Principal S. Thiruchelvam and Chavalakade Police Station Officer-in-Charge Ramzin Pakeer. Navithanveli Pradeshiya Sabha Member A. Sudarsan, Navithanveli Public Health Inspector A.H.M. Jabir, police officers, teachers, parents and students participated in the event.
