Senior police officers and police stations in the Colombo district have been placed on high alert over an explosive laden lorry and a van said to be in the city.
Police said operations are currently underway to locate these two vehicles said to be linked to the Easter Sunday attacks.
Special Task Force personnel on Monday blew up a van laden with explosives 100 metres away from the St. Anthony’s church, Kochchikade where a bomb blew off killing more than 60 devotees participating in the Easter Sunday service.
