A motorcyclist and his daughter were killed after the motorcycle collided with a Colombo Fort-bound train on the Wandurawa railway crossing at around 6.45 a.m. this morning
The accident occurred when the train was traveling from Kankesanthurai to Colombo.
The remains are currently placed at the Wathupitiwala Hospital.
Veyangoda Police is conducting further investigations.
