New Democratic Front Presidential candidate Sajith Premadasa will address his final election rally near the Tower Hall in Colombo this evening with campaigning for the Presidential election 2019 ending tonight.
He is also expected to address election rallies in Moneragala, Hambantota, Weligama, Galle and Kalutara during the course of the day.
Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe will participate in the election rallies in Galle and Kalutara today. The Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna will have its final rally in Homagma today with the participation party Presidential candidate Gotabaya Rajapaksa.
National People’s Power Presidential candidate Anura Kumara Dissanayake will address his final rally in Dharga Town in Aluthgama this evening.
A number of election rallies organized by the SLPP will be held today in Kalutara, Galle, Matara, Thissamaharamaya and Kesbewa under the patronage of former President Mahinda Rajapaksa.SLPP Presidential candidate Gotabaya Rajapaska is also expected to participate in these rallies.
NPP Presidential candidate Anura Kumara Dissanayake will address several rallies in Galle and Maharagama today.
Election Commission sources said that Commission Chairman Mahinda Deshapriya will meet members of the various international observer groups at the Commission Secretariat today.
