The Leader of the House and the Chief Organiser of the ruling party will be announced at the next SLPP Party Leaders’ Meeting on December 17.
The SLPP party leaders’ meeting will be held at the Prime Minister’s residence under the patronage of the President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and the Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa.
Leaders of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP), Jathika Nidahas Peramuna (JNP), Pivithuru Hela Uramaya (PHU), Sri Lanka Mahajana Party (SLMP), Mahajana Eksath Peramuna (MEP), Sri Lanka Communist Party (SLCP), Lanka Sama Samaja Party (LSSP) and other political parties will participate, Highways and Ports Minister Johnston Fernando yesterday said when he was contacted by Daily News.
