The Kelaniya Division Crime Investigation officers had arrested a suspect in possession of a stock of heroin and Ice at the Peliyagoda flyover, according to the Police Media Unit.
The police had seized 4g and 230 mg of heroin which was in the suspects possession and also 1000 mg of Ice which was in his possession.
The suspect had been handed over to the Peliyagoda Police for further investigations and onward action.
The suspect was scheduled to be produced before the Aluthkade No. 05 Magistrate’s Court and further investigations are being carried out by the Peliyagoda Police.
