The Criminal Investigations Department (CID) yesterday informed the Colombo Fort Magistrate’s Court that the Thimbirigasyaya Divisional Secretary informed them (CID) that they buried the remains of Mohomed Ibraheem Ilham Ahamed, who carried out the Easter Sunday suicide bomb attack at the Cinnamon Grand Hotel. The CID also stated that the father and father-in-law of the bomber had identified his remains. The CID also pointed out that father of the suicide bomber, Ibrahim Insaam Ahammed was detained under their custody.
The Magistrate fixed further inquiries for March 18.
