The striking Sri Lanka Country Pavilion featured at the BIT International Travel Exhibition held from February 9 to 11 at Fieramilanocity in Milan, Italy was a major attraction with a large number of visitors patronising it.
The event was conducted and coordinated by the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau, the Sri Lanka Embassy in Rome and the Consulate General of Sri Lanka in Milan. A Sri Lankan dance troupe from Milan, added glamour to the Sri Lanka Country Pavilion with their performances. Ceylon Tea was also served at the Pavilion. Representatives from the Sri Lanka travel trade also participated at the event.
BIT is a historic event organized by Fiera Milano since 1980.
