A woman was arrested with 10.220 gram of heroin by Galle police last week.
The woman (42) is a mother of four children. She is a resident of Mahamodara, Galle.
The suspect had been convicted on a number of occasions for the similar offence. She has links with network of drug dealers, police said.
The suspect was to be produced before the Galle Magistrate yesterday evening.
Investigations are continuing.
