Army Commander Lt. General Shavendra Silva said a total of 157 Sri Lankans who returned from overseas have tested positive for COVID-19, out of that 90 returnees from Kuwait had tested positive for the Coronavirus.
He also said that 18 returnees from Dubai, and few from Indonesia had alsl tested positive for COVID-19.
Accordingly, the total number of COVID-19 positive patients in the country stands at 1182.
Of them, 712 persons had made a full recovery and have been discharged from hospital
