“We were expelled from the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) as we supported the ruling party to approve the 20th Amendment to the Constitution in Parliament recently. Therefore, I will assist the Government led by President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and the Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa to build a prosperous country, SJB Parliamentarian Diana Gamage said.
She said that she will accept any responsibility given to her by the Government for the betterment of the country.
“The citizens now need a better tomorrow for them and their children. They have much confidence in the President and the Prime Minister of this Governmen,” she said.
She said that all must get together irrespective of political affiliations and work on the well-being of the country and its people.
