The Sri Lanka’s Embassy in Bangkok launched its new official website www.bangkok.embassy.gov.lk yesterday. The revamped site will provide user-friendly access to a wide spectrum of information on Sri Lanka and the Embassy services. It will help the overseas Sri Lankans, potential travellers and investors to experience maximum flexibility and efficiency in obtaining relevant information online.
In support of Government’s approach for speedy recovery of tourism and export sectors, in the COVID-19 situation, the new official website of the Mission contains an inclusive mini online platform ‘Visit Sri Lanka’ providing travel information in Thai Language. It also has connection to the Thai version of the ‘Buddhist Trail Tourism Microsite’ that was launched in Bangkok on the sidelines of the 65th Anniversary of the Thai-Sri Lanka diplomatic relations. Guidelines for prospective investors and businesses with regard to investment, business opportunities in Sri Lanka are also available under ‘Made in Sri Lanka’ and ‘Invest in Sri Lanka’, segments, which also contain product details, useful contacts etc.
The Mission wishes to thank the IT Administration of the Foreign Ministry and also the web developers at ‘PMGS Digital Marketing’, for the dedicated work and support extended to the Embassy.
The Sri Lanka Embassy in Bangkok appreciates any comments/views from our visitors and we hope it will be an interesting and useful online portal on Sri Lanka and also to facilitate obtaining services from the Sri Lanka Embassy in Bangkok.
