An encounter broke out between the police and miscreants in Delhi's Khajuri Khas area on Thursday morning. It is being said that in this encounter 2 miscreants were killed by the Delhi Police, while two policemen were injured.
According to the Delhi Police, these two miscreants were involved in many cases including robbery and the police were looking for both of them for a long time. The miscreants have been identified as Amir and Rajman.
Aamir was a resident of Loni and Rajman was a resident of Rohini. Both were hiding in a house here. When the police reached the spot, the miscreants opened fire. In retaliation, the police opened fire and killed both of them. Two pistols, one and a half lakh rupees along with cartridges have also been recovered from the miscreants.
It is suspected that both of them had reached Delhi after committing a robbery. Information is coming out that the police team of Rohini district had reached Khajuri chasing them from Begumpur. A joint operation was carried out with the local police here, after which both were killed in the encounter.
Two miscreants of Tillu gang arrested
A youth named Nitesh was murdered during a gang war in Karala village of Delhi last month. In this case, Kanjhawala police station has arrested two miscreants of Sunil alias Tillu Tajpuria gang.
The accused have been identified as Akshay alias Golu, resident of Shastri Park in Sonepat, Haryana and Suraj alias Golu, resident of Post Office Park. Pistol, two cartridges, mobile and bike have been recovered from the accused. The miscreants had killed the youth because Nitesh's elder brother Pravesh had shot dead a member of the Tillu gang along with his associates last year. Police is conducting raids to find the three absconding accused.
According to Rohini District Deputy Commissioner of Police Pranav Tayal, Nitesh was shot dead during a gang war at Anandpur Dham in Karala at 10.30 am on July 31. Nitesh's sister-in-law Preeti had told in the complaint given to the police that five miscreants who came on two bikes carried out the incident. During this it was also learned that Pravesh is a member of Gogi gang.
