Deputy Director-General of Health Services Dr. Hemantha Herath today urged the public to strictly follow the COVID health guidelines in order to ensure the spread of Covid-19 does not reach a crisis situation.
He was responding to a question by a journalist at a media conference held at the Health Promotion Bureau.
He further said that the hospitals are being prepared to face any emergency such as a sudden increase in the number of patients and the medical staff has already been trained to face such a situation.
