Due to the rising prices of petrol and diesel, the demand for electric vehicles has increased rapidly in India. Electric vehicles are being widely preferred, especially in the two-wheeler segment. Due to this, along with most of the major automakers, many new players are also entering the two-wheeler segment with electric products.
In this sequence, Tamil Nadu-based Boom Motors has introduced the Corbett electric bike for the first time in India.
To compete with the competitors in the market, Boom Motors has given a 2.3 kWh battery in this electric bike, which has been given the option of doubling up to 4.6 kWh capacity. The company has claimed that this electric bike can cover a distance of up to 200 km in a single charge.
The new bike is equipped with swappable batteries and comes with a portable charger. You can also charge the Boom Corbett batteries at home with the help of a 15A household socket. BOOM claims that the Corbett can run at a maximum speed of 75 km/h and is capable of carrying a load of up to 200 kg.
Boom Motors has introduced a 5-year EMI scheme on the purchase of Corbett, with the help of which you can bring the bike home by paying Rs 1,699 per month. Not only this, to woo the customers, Boom Motors has fixed a booking amount of just Rs 499 for this electric. In addition, the company is also offering an initial discount of Rs 3,000 on Corbett.
