Makers of ‘Yodha’ have roped in actors Disha Patani and Raashii Khanna as the leading ladies of the upcoming action film starring Sidharth Malhotra in the lead role.
Producer Karan Johar confirmed the news on his Instagram Stories by sharing the posters that read “Welcoming the fierce Disha Patani” and “Welcoming the stellar Raashii Khanna.”
The shooting of ‘Yodha’ began on November 27. Backed by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, ‘Yodha’ is reportedly an aerial action film.
Karan had attached a first look teaser alongside the announcement. The clip began with a glimpse of a burning plane, before the camera zoomed in and focused on Malhotra’s character, wearing combat gear as he looks all set to kill or to be killed. He wrote in his post, “After conquering the peaks, I am proud to present Sidharth Malhotra back with power in the first of the action franchise by Dharma Productions – #Yodha. Directed by the dynamic duo – Sagar Ambre & Pushkar Ojha. Landing in cinemas near you on 11th November, 2022.”
Meanwhile, Sidharth also has Thank God and Mission Majnu in his pipeline.
The film, which is being helmed by Pushkar Ojha and Sagar Ambre, will release in theatres on November 11, 2022.
