Kudu Roshan’s killers surrender to police

Four suspects in connection with the murder of Kudu Roshan, a gangster known to be a close associate of gang leader Makandure Madush surrendered to the police, Hikkaduwa police said.

Thuiyadura Roshan De Silva alias Kudu Roshan, 34, a resident of Munugoda Road, Kalupe, Meetiyagoda was found hacked to death at Milla in Hikkaduwa on December 20. Hikkaduwa police had initiated investigations to arrest the suspects.

The surrendered suspects are residents of Kalupe. They are being questioned on a Detention Order obtained from court. The van in which the killers had arrived had been found earlier at a location in Hikkaduwa.

Investigations have revealed that the van had been obtained from a vehicle rental company in Rathgama.

Roshan had been killed at a house in the Kannangarawatta in Nalagasdeniyawatta. Investigations have revealed that he was killed by five persons from Kalupe, Hikkaduwa.

Police are conducting investigations led by Hikkaduwa OIC, T.P.G Palliyaguruge.
