Jaipur:
A 16-year-old girl, who had gone missing on December 23, 2021, was later found dead in Rajasthan’s Bundi. Now the autopsy report of the minor has revealed she was raped and that the accused continued to rape her even after her death.
As per reports, the girl had gone missing when she was out grazing her goats in the fields and as she resisted the gang-rape attempt by three men, they strangled her.
Initial reports had revealed that friends of the girl had told her family that she had stopped in between to relieve herself and when she did not return for long, they moved ahead. The girl’s parents and relatives then launched a search, only to find her naked body, as per the police.
The body was found in a forest area near Kalakunwa village under the Basoli police station area and had bite marks and wounds to the neck and head.
According to the autopsy report, there were over 30 injuries to the girl’s private parts and left her bruised with scratches all over her body.
The post-mortem also revealed that the accused had tied the girl up with her own dupatta before raping her. Commenting on the case, Bundi SP Jai Yadav said, “I have never seen such a ghastly incident in my life. Members of the Bundi Bar Association have also declared that they will not defend the accused in court.”

Two people were arrested for the rape and murder. The two accused have been booked under Section 302 (murder), 201 (causing disappearance of evidence of offence) and 376 (rape) of the Indian Penal Code and Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
