<p>The Jaffna District Crime Prevention Division has raided a home-lab producing a stimulant drug, Crystal methamphetamine ('ICE') at Chunnakam.</p>
<p>Jaffna SSP Jagath Wishantha said that acting on information elicited from a suspect, the raiding party had taken into custody equipment used to produce the synthetic drug.</p>
<p>Police are looking for the owner of illicit facility.</p>
<p>He is said to have been a member of the Ava group operating in Jaffna.</p>
<p>Samples taken from the lab were sent to the Government Analyst for investigation.</p>
