A press release issued by the College of Chemical Sciences said: "The project aimed to acknowledge these mothers' strength and dedication during difficult times. Each hamper, tailored for the mothers, included essentials like sanitary products, an umbrella, perfume, earrings, claw clips, soap, hair oil, and a heartfelt card.

"Moreover, we extended our support by providing breakfast to the families and hosting a Mother's Day celebration, adding warmth and joy to the occasion. This initiative was made possible thanks to the gracious support we received from Abans PLC as the Main Sponsor. In addition to that, the support we received from AIA Insurance (co-sponsor) as well as the generous donations, made this event a success. Additionally, partnerships with Fems, Velvet, and Kumarika enriched its impact. The event deeply touched the mothers, many expressing feelings having been seen and valued for the first time. This initiative highlighted the importance of supporting these mothers, recognizing their pivotal role in nurturing and empowering their children."

[Category: Uncategorized]

Tags:
