The 11th death anniversary commemoration of Batticaloa district former parliamentarian Joseph Pararajasingam was held at Devanayagam Hall, Arasady, Batticaloa on Sunday.
ITAK president and Jaffna district Parliamentarian Mavai Senathiraja garlanded the portrait and paid respect and lit the oil lamp in his meomory.
TNA parliamentarians of the Batticaloa district, Eastern Provincial Councillors and ITAK party members also participated.
Pararajasingam was shot dead on December 25, 2005 during Christmas mass celebrations.
CID investigating the murder, arrested Sivanesathurai Chandrakanthan on October 11, 2015.
