Kurunegala Additional Magistrate Chamara Wickramanaike yesterday fined 12 drivers Rs. 6,250 each for driving under the influence of liquor and for various other traffic offenses.
Their licences were suspended for six months as well. Also two men were fined Rs. 1,000 each for behaving indecently in public under the influence of liquor.
