1st Vidhan Mishra Memorial Cricket Tournament: Doosy XI, Rishabh Public School dominate on Day 3

Yesterday was the third day of the first 1st Vidhan Mishra Memorial Cricket Tournament (Under 16). This tournament is being played at the ground of ABSIT College of Engineering, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. 

Two important matches were played on Friday (August

13

) on the third day of the tournament.

The first match was played between Doosy XI and Cricplex Cricket Academy, Noida, while the second match was played between NCA Cricket Academy (NCA) of Rishabh Public School Cricket Academy, Delhi. Cricket Academy).

While Doosy XI won the first match, the second match was in the name of Rishabh Public School Cricket Academy. Both the matches looked one-sided. This tournament is being organized under the supervision of cricket coach Dushyant Sharma and Mohammad Mukim Khan.

1st match: Doosy XI vs Cricplex Cricket Academy

The first match on Friday was played between Doosy XI and Cricplex Cricket Academy. Doosy XI won this match by 6 wickets. Thus, losing the first match is a big win for Doosy XI to stay in the tournament. Abhishek Yadav of Doosy XI showed his great talent first with the ball and then with the bat. Abhishek Yadav was awarded the man of the man title for his excellent performance. While Subhash Yadav of Cricplex Cricket Academy was adjudged Fighter of the Match.

Doosy XI won the toss and elected to bowl first. Electing to bat first, Cricplex Cricket Academy made 111 for the loss of eight wickets in 20 overs. For Cricplex Cricket Academy 32 runs, Rochelle Hoon 26 runs and Subhash 15 runs. 

On the other hand, Doosy XI bowlers bowled well and kept the batsmen of Cricplex Cricket Academy under control. Rishabh, Ishan and Arjun Singh took two wickets each for Doosy XI. While one wicket each came in the account of Abhishek Yadav and Mahi.

Chasing the target of 112 runs, Doosy XI made a big upset in his batting order. Doosy Eleven changed the regular opening with opener Divyansh sending his all-rounder Abhishek Yadav into the field as the opening pair. Both the batsmen proved right on the decision of Doosy XI coach Dushyant Sharma and captain Arjun Bharadwaj.

The first wicket of Doosy XI fell in the form of Abhishek Yadav when the team’s score was 79 runs in 9.4 overs. Abhishek Yadav scored 47 and Divyansh runs from 35 balls for Doosy XI. On behalf of Cricplex Cricket Academy, Subhash Kumar took three wickets and Omshree took one wicket.

Match 2: Rishabh Public School Cricket Academy, Delhi vs NCA Cricket Academy

The second match was played between Rishabh Public School Cricket Academy Delhi and NCA Cricket Academy. Rishabh Public School Cricket Academy won this match by a huge margin of 94 runs. In this way, both the matches played on Friday were one-sided. The players of Rishabh Public School Cricket Academy performed brilliantly with batting first and then bowling.

Shiven Panwar of Rishabh Public School Cricket Academy was awarded the Man of the Match award for his brilliant bowling. Shiven Panwar showed the way to the pavilion for five players of NCA Cricket Academy by giving 9 runs in 3.4 overs. Anubhav Bachan of NCA Cricket Academy was adjudged Fighter of the Match. Rishabh Public School Cricket Academy won the toss and elected to bat. Batting first, the batsmen of Rishabh Public School Cricket Academy showed their great talent. Rishabh Public School Cricket Academy scored 170 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 20 overs.

For Rishabh Public School Cricket Academy, Ashok scored 55 not out off 38 balls, while Viaan Arora made 35, Raghav Siswal 27 and Visham Sarwan contributed 23 runs. Rehan Sahil and Arjun took two wickets each for NCA Cricket Academy while Aman Chaudhary and Shashank got one wicket each.

Chasing a mountain-like target of 171 runs in 20 overs, none of the batsmen of the NCA Cricket Academy could run. After batting, it was now the turn of the bowlers of Rishabh Public School Cricket Academy. The bowlers also showed their great talent. Rishabh Public School Cricket Academy bowlers made NCA Cricket Academy a score of just 76 runs in 12.4 overs.

Anubhav Bachan scored 18 and Aman scored 16 runs for NCA Cricket Academy. After this, none of the batsmen of the NCA Cricket Academy could even cross the double figure. Shiven Panwar took 5 wickets, Aman and Ayan Khan took two wickets each for Rishabh Public School Cricket Academy. Under this, Rishabh Public School Cricket Academy has made its debut in the first Vidhan Mishra Memorial Cricket Tournament with a big win.
