The Tamil National People's Alliance over the weekend distributed leaflets in the Jaffna peninsula declaring that the Northern and Eastern Provinces should boycott the Presidential poll scheduled to be conducted in Sept/Oct this year.

The grouping said that the all elections should be boycotted until the country's unitary status was done away with to pave the way for a Federal structure.
